Connect Imaging launches DVDCopy

PACS developer Connect Imaging of Honolulu has released a standalone offsite image storage product, DVDCopy.

The product combines software and hardware to automatically burn DVD copies of DICOM-based digital images for offsite storage, according to the vendor. Each DVD produced carries a label with the job number, facility name, and date range for the studies it contains, Connect Imaging said.
