Diagnostic imaging center operator Radiologix has begun making the first installations in a new effort to install a unified RIS/PACS network at all of the imaging centers in its network.
The RIS portion of the company's Radiologix Enhanced Workflow and Record Distribution (Reward) RIS/PACS initiative has been activated at the firm's subsidiaries, Mid Rockland Imaging Partners in New City, NY, and Ide Imaging Partners in Rochester, NY.
The Dallas-based firm created the initiative to deploy a common technology platform across its 76 imaging centers in 10 states. The RIS/PACS application is provided by Merge eFilm of Milwaukee, Radiologix said.
