Image and information systems vendor Amicas of Boston will debut a new product and service offering, Amicas Migrations, at the Society for Computer Applications in Radiology (SCAR) meeting in Orlando, FL, this week.
The combined offering includes turnkey PACS migration by DeJarnette Research Systems of Towson, MD, as well as the installation of Amicas' Vision Series PACS, and the use of its professional and consulting services product, Insight Services.
Amicas will also be showcasing version 4.1 of its Vision Series PACS, highlighted by new capabilities of its LightBeam diagnostic workstation such as advances in large dataset review. This includes enhancements to the firm's Web-based 3D MIP/MPR module, a new Target Review tool, and a new navigation method for rapidly paging through large image series, Amicas said.
