Medcon signs SoCal deal

Cardiac image and information management firm Medcon Telemedicine Technology has signed an agreement to provide services to Cardiovascular Medical Group of Southern California, a cardiology practice affiliated with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Brotman Medical Center.

Medcon will provide Web distribution and archiving services for 64-slice CT, echocardiography, and nuclear medicine images. Medon's TCS Symphony system will be implemented at the group's Beverly Hills center, and will distribute images to other group facilities using Medcon's MDWeb application.
