PACS accessory provider S&S Technology has introduced EW1000, a workstation designed for ergonomic viewing of PACS images.
EW1000 features two individually controlled motorized table surfaces, and includes computerized height-adjustment switches for five programmed memory selections, according to the Houston-based firm. It also offers adjustable ambient lighting controls, and options such as monitor arms, a task reading light, and mounting brackets for illuminators.
S&S has also rolled out its OR PACS cart, which is designed to support viewing of radiological images on a mobile platform in operating rooms. The cart can accommodate either one or two 21-inch flat-panel monitors, S&S said.
