Kodak gets Finnish e-health contract

Eastman Kodak Health Group of Rochester, NY, reported that it has been selected as the main supplier of the RATU e-health project in northern Finland.

Kodak will provide a community radiology package that includes its RIS 2010, DirectView PACS System 5 Web clients, and CareStream information management product, as well as the company's Versatile Intelligent Patient Archive (VIParchive) software.

The project is funded by five hospital districts and the Finnish Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, Kodak said. The first phase of the project is set to be completed during the first quarter of 2006, when the northern region's central hospitals and four pilot healthcare centers will be connected, according to Kodak.
