(Booth 8357) Acuo will highlight the latest release of its DICOM Services Grid on the show floor at this year's RSNA meeting.
Its native use of DICOM allows for applications and users to access any DICOM device, PACS, or archive on the grid in an authorized fashion, Acuo said. Proprietary hardware or software components are not required to use DICOM Services Grid; instead, every DICOM device on the network can join the grid without having to change how they currently operate.
Also, every native node on the grid is able to integrate via standard protocols, allowing workflow to be automatically created through clinical policies based upon any meta-data. This workflow can then be extended through image movement, compression, encryption, prefetching, caching, or permanent storage, according to Acuo.
