Agfa HealthCare has released the latest version of its Impax HeartStation data management system for electrocardiograms (ECGs).
HeartStation now includes support for multiple ECG cart vendors, according to the Greenville, SC-based firm.
In other Agfa news, the company has received an order from Beaumont Hospitals in Royal Oak, MI. The customer will be expanding its current Impax radiology PACS installation to include Impax Cardiovascular for its cardiology department, Agfa said.
Agfa has also received an order for Impax Cardiovascular from Western Maryland Health System in Cumberland. Impax Cardiovascular will be used at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, which is scheduled to open later this year. Agfa will also provide HeartStation, integration with the new hospital's radiology PACS and HIS, reporting, an interface to a physician portal, and a data mining tool.
