PACS vendor Sectra said that hospitals at two local health districts in NSW Health Care in Australia have begun using its enterprise-wide radiology imaging package.
Sectra's software is now live in the Western Sydney health district at Westmead Hospital, Auburn Hospital, Blacktown Hospital, and Mount Druitt Hospital. It's also been installed at the Nepean Hospital and Blue Mountains Hospital in the Nepean Blue Mountains health district, according to the vendor. These institutions perform an aggregate of more than 400,000 radiology exams each year.
Ultimately, Sectra's enterprise imaging offering will be deployed under a 13-year contract across 11 organizations in Australia, including nine health districts, the Sydney Children's Hospital Network, and NSW Health Pathology's Forensic and Analytical Science Service, Sectra said.
