Fujifilm Healthcare Americas has inked an agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to host FujiFilm's Synapse enterprise imaging platform.
AWS has validated Fujifilm’s Synapse enterprise PACS for cloud readiness. The deal allows Fujifilm to leverage AWS’s resources and expertise to ensure Synapse has optimal cloud performance and security for its imaging applications, including Radiology PACS, Cardiology PACS, Digital Pathology PACS, and Synapse Vendor Neutral Archive, the company said.
Shifting its platform to AWS will support Synapse customers as they transition from legacy data centers to public cloud infrastructure, Fujifilm said.
In other news, the company said it has expanded its existing contract with New Jersey-based Hackensack Meridian Health, with the health network now deploying the company's Synapse Cardiology PACS across its 18-hospital network. Hackensack Meridian has already deployed Synapse Radiology PACS and Synapse Synchronicity, Fujifilm noted.
