Philips Healthcare is getting company at its Andover, MA, headquarters.
Parent company Royal Philips Electronics has chosen Andover to serve as the new base of operations for Philips Electronics North America, which is moving its regional headquarters from New York City.
With the addition, Massachusetts will host the largest Philips presence in North America, with approximately 5,000 employees, six major worksites, and other manufacturing facilities. Philips estimates that it will inject more than $266 million in payroll into the Massachusetts economy each year.
