Dear Business & Industry Insider,
A few weeks ago, we reported on how some radiologists are dissatisfied with the ultrasound image management tools available on general-purpose PACS workstations. This week, we're profiling a company that's built a business plan around tackling that problem.
Called Imorgon, the firm has developed a dedicated ultrasound image management module that can be plugged into a facility's PACS software -- meaning there's no need for a separate workstation. The company includes a number of executives who were behind the development of some of the first ultrasound PACS applications more than a decade ago.
