Drug discovery and life sciences product developer Caliper Life Sciences has debuted IVIS Spectrum CT, a preclinical imaging system that offers optical imaging and low-dose microCT.
IVIS Spectrum CT allows for simultaneous molecular and anatomical longitudinal studies in small-animal models, according to the vendor. Caliper believes the system will have a broad array of applications, including musculoskeletal, vascular, oncology, phenotyping, cardiovascular, and respiratory disease imaging.
