Radiology benefits management firm National Imaging Associates (NIA) and Coventry Health Care have signed a binding letter of agreement to extend their contract through December 31, 2015.
Under the new agreement, NIA would also become the preferred radiology benefits management service provider in any additional markets in which Coventry decides to outsource.
NIA, a subsidiary of Magellan Health Services, first began providing services to Coventry Health Care in 2009.
