The American College of Radiology (ACR) has come out in support of a Texas Medical Association lawsuit that states the Surprise Billing Final Rule's dispute resolution process fails to comply with No Surprises Act text.
The ACR is offering its support for the October 12 suit along with the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American Society of Anesthesiologists; the three organizations filed a joint amicus brief in support of the Texas Medical Association suit on October 19.
The No Surprises Act went into effect in February.
