Display provider Planar Systems has unveiled its new Dome EX line of display monitors at RSNA 2005. The line includes a 4-megapixel color diagnostic display medically certified for healthcare.
Designed for use in areas, such as radiology, cardiology, nuclear medicine, and PET/CT, Planar's Dome E4c features a wide-screen, 16:9 format designed to simplify comparison studies by eliminating the image split associated with dual-head monitors. The Dome E4c joins other color displays in the Dome EX line, the Dome E2c and E3c.
Planar also introduced the new Dome EX line with color and grayscale displays in 2- and 3-megapixel resolutions, as well as a new 5-megapixel grayscale display.
