Beginning January 1, 2002, the American Society of Radiologic Technologists will take over the business operations of the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB), the ASRT said. In particular, the ASRT will manage the continuing competency documentation program, which evaluates educational programs sent to the MDCB, as well as track credits for medical dosimetrists. The ASRT also will publish the MDCB’s annual newsletter and produce the directory of certified medical dosimetrists.
