The American College of Radiology (ACR) said that its National Radiology Data Registry (NRDR) has been recognized by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) as a Qualified Clinical Data Registry.
As a result, eligible professionals can now take part in NRDR to meet requirements of the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS), ACR said. In addition to being able to submit data for existing PQRS measures, eligible professionals can provide data for 20 non-PQRS measures.
They can also meet maintenance-of-certification practice quality improvement requirements and gain performance feedback to help improve patient care and maximize value modifier performance, ACR said.
