The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) has appointed a new president and CEO: Kevin Cosgriff, a former vice admiral in the U.S. Navy.
Between 2010 and 2013, Cosgriff served as senior vice president of international business and government for Textron Systems. As a vice admiral, he commanded the U.S. Naval Forces Central Command, overseeing 30,000 sailors throughout a region encompassing 22 countries. He also commanded the U.S. Fifth Fleet, directing naval forces in the Persian Gulf, Red Sea, Arabian Sea, and off the coast of East Africa, according to NEMA.
Cosgriff will start his new position on August 4.
