Refurbished equipment supplier Block Imaging International of Lansing, MI, announced a new partnership with the Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences of Toronto to promote refurbished medical imaging equipment in Canada.
The partnership will present refurbished medical imaging equipment options to Canadian markets as an economical alternative for expanding diagnostic imaging capacity, the company said. It will also provide Canadian hospitals and imaging centers with a reliable option for selling their preowned systems at fair prices with professionally managed removals.
Through this partnership, Canadian hospitals and imaging centers will have access to a global network of refurbished MRI, CT, PET/CT, x-ray, and women's imaging systems. It will also provide additional resources, including an extensive parts inventory and 24/7 imaging equipment service coverage through Block Imaging's Flex Service program.
The partnership will also explore the development of educational offerings directed toward medical imaging technologies, Block noted.
