Medical Positioning plans to debut three new diagnostic imaging tables at the upcoming RSNA 2016 meeting.
Ultra DBI is for stereotactic breast biopsies and helps to transition patients between upright and prone positions. VizaVue is designed for modified barium swallow studies and features a 19- to 33-inch height range. It transitions from upright chair to stretcher positions for supine patient transfer; 90°-angle seat rotation accommodates both lateral and anteroposterior views.
Finally, Medical Positioning will debut a multimodality platform designed to minimize staff risk of repetitive stress injury and reduce exam time. The company plans to begin marketing this table, which is currently unnamed, in 2017.
