E-cigarette/Vaping Associated Lung Injury

The condition is defined as lung injury associated with vaping or e-cigarette use within 90 days of symptom onset associated with radiologic infiltrates and absence of an alternative explanation [1].- X-ray:
CT: Vaping associated lung injury most commonly manifests as multifocal ground glass opacities (seen in up to 96% of patients), often with areas of organizing consolidation (seen in up to 42% of patients) [1]. Smooth interlobular septal thickening can also be seen in up to 29% of patients [1]. Pleural effusions (typically small to moderate sized) can be seen in 17% of patients [1].REFERENCES:
