SonoSite upgrades S Series scanners

Compact-ultrasound developer SonoSite of Bothell, WA, has expanded the clinical capabilities of its S Series line, the company said.

The company has added transducers to the systems: S-FAST for vascular and venous scanning, S-ICU and S-Cath for pediatric cardiac and abdominal scanning, S-MSK for guidance of hip injections, and S-Nerve for pediatric peripheral nerve blocks and line placements.
