B-K Medical signs Amerinet deal

B-K Medical of Wilmington, MA, has signed a three-year agreement to provide surgical ultrasound systems, related accessories, and supplies to group purchasing organization Amerinet of St. Louis.

B-K Medical's products are used for applications such as prostate scanning, brachytherapy, and intraoperative and laparoscopic surgery.

The company, a subsidiary of Analogic of Peabody, MA, recently launched the Pro Focus OR ultrasound system, which can be mounted on an operating room boom, giving OR staff more movement within the sterile area.
