Robotic technology developer Hansen Medical has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance to market its CoHesion 3D visualization module for use in complex electrophysiology mapping procedures.
The integrated package provides a software interface between Hansen's Sensei robotic catheter system and St. Jude Medical's EnSite system mapping software, according to Hansen of Mountain View, CA.
