Outpatient medical imaging provider SimonMed has launched Ultrasound+, an AI-enabled software that helps clinicians identify breast and thyroid cancer that is supported by Koios Medical's Koios DS.
The software uses algorithms to "analyze breast and thyroid ultrasound images in real time, providing classifications based on millions of data points," the company said. It acts as a second read for radiologists, identifying "subtle patterns linked to breast and thyroid cancers that may not always be visible to the human eye," it noted.
