Three-dimensional-software developer Vital Images is introducing its advanced visualization ViTALCardia software this week at the American College of Cardiology (ACC) meeting in Orlando, FL. ViTALCardia includes software for diagnosis and also Web-based thin-client distribution technology that provides image access throughout a cardiology enterprise.
ViTALCardia includes several Vitrea applications, such as coronary vessel analysis, cardiac functional analysis, calcium scoring, and peripheral vessel analysis, according to the Plymouth, MN-based firm.
Tustin, CA-based Toshiba America Medical Systems is offering ViTALCardia with its Aquilion 64 CFX CT scanners, and is showing the software at its booth at the ACC meeting.
