Toshiba nets 64-slice CT sale

Multimodality developer Toshiba America Medical Systems reported the installation of its Aquilion 64-slice CT scanner at the Parkland Health & Hospital System in Dallas.

The scanner will be dedicated to the emergency room at the institution, according to the Tustin, CA-based company.
