Siemens Healthineers and Florida Hospital are collaborating on a long-term agreement aimed at improving patient outcomes.
In the first phase of the deal, Florida Hospital Celebration Health will use the vendor's Somatom Definition Flash dual-source CT system to incorporate cardiac CT angiography into the hospital's clinical protocol. The six-month study will explore the optimal assessment and management of intermediate-risk patients who arrive at Celebration Health's emergency department with acute chest pain, the company said.
In future phases, Siemens and Florida Hospital said they will explore similar pathways to enhance patient experience while delivering value-based and affordable care.
