(Booth 4586) 3D imaging device developer Imaging3 will debut a production prototype of its work-in-progress Dominion Vi scanner.
Dominion Vi is a mobile device that allows for perpendicular tilting, which means patients can be scanned standing up, the Burbank, CA, company said. Imaging3 will also highlight Dominion Vi's 3D real-time imaging capability, which enables 360° of 3D imaging every 0.2 to 0.8 seconds.
Upon clearance of Dominion Vi by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Imaging3 expects to make its first installation during the first quarter of 2008, at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland.
