Radioisotope developer Isonics of Golden, CO, has signed an agreement with Central Radiopharmaceutical Services (CRS) of Buffalo, NY, for the joint production and marketing of indium-111.
CRS will provide irradiation facilities and expertise, as well as chemical syntheses using Isonics-provided methodologies, the company said. Initial commercial quantities of indium-111 are expected in the fourth quarter this year.
The firms have been collaborating on the development of new manufacturing methods over the past six months, according to Isonics.
