Optical molecular imaging developer ART Advanced Research Technologies reported higher sales for its fiscal 2005 second quarter (end-June 30), but the company's net loss also continued.
ART had second-quarter sales of $752,000 (U.S.), up sharply compared with the $190,000 reported for the same period last year. For the quarter, the Montreal-based firm posted a net loss of $2.701 million, almost even when compared with a net loss of $2.694 million a year ago.
The continuation of net losses was attributed to R&D expenditures related to clinical trial preparation, ART said.
