GE Healthcare has hired Jean-Luc Vanderheyden to the newly created position of leader for its molecular imaging business.
In his new role, Vanderheyden will help in the design and development of global molecular imaging strategy, especially as it relates to integrated offerings to and partnerships with academic institutions, according to the Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.-based vendor.
Vanderheyden comes to GE after serving as vice president of research and development at Theseus Imaging, and will report to GE's molecular imaging business general manager, a position that's currently vacant.
