IBA sells cyclotron to University of Florida

Ion Beam Applications is preparing to ship its largest cyclotron (model 235) to the University of Florida Proton Therapy Center in Jacksonville, where it will be used for proton therapy cancer treatment.

The cyclotron will be shipped January 11, according to the Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium-based firm.
