Imaging system developer Gamma Medica of Northridge, CA, is combining operations with Ideas ASA of Oslo, Norway, a producer of imaging detector subsystems. The resulting company will be called Gamma Medica Ideas.
Full integration of the companies is expected by the end of summer. Current Gamma Medica CEO Bradley E. Patt, Ph.D., will be president and CEO of the new company; Thomas Langaard, general manager of Ideas, will be chief operating officer.
