Molecular imaging developer Positron said it plans to launch its PosiRx automated radiopharmaceutical system at the upcoming American Pharmacists Association and American College of Cardiology annual meetings.
PosiRx -- which the company had previously called Cardio-Assist -- automates the elution, preparation, and dispensing processes for radiopharmaceutical agents used in molecular imaging. The current focus of the system will be to handle technetium-99m SPECT imaging agents, the company said.
