Sterigenics International has announced a recapitalization deal that will give the company additional funds to grow.
Sterigenics said the recapitalization has private equity firm Warburg Pincus taking an equity stake in the company, joining private equity firm GTCR, which purchased Sterigenics in 2011.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The partnership between Warburg Pincus and GTCR means Sterigenics is positioned to accelerate growth, invest additional capital, and expand its global footprint, the company said.
The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2015.
