Contrast agent developer Advanced Magnetics has appointed Michael Avallone as CFO. Avallone will be replacing vice president of finance James Matheson, who will be stepping down to focus on other opportunities, according to the Cambridge, MA-based company.
Avallone comes to Advanced Magnetics with more than 30 years of senior-level financial management experience. He most recently served as vice president of finance and CFO of Boston Biomedica.
