Intermagnetics gets OK for MRI Devices deal

MRI components provider Intermagnetics General reported that it has received regulatory clearance from the U.S. Department of Justice to complete the acquisition of MR radiofrequency coil manufacturer MRI Devices (MRIDC) for $100 million in cash and stock.

The transaction is scheduled to close shortly, according to the Latham, NY-based Intermagnetics.
