RadNet acquires Liberty Pacific

Los Angeles-based imaging services provider RadNet has acquired Liberty Pacific Imaging Center in Encino, CA, for $2.8 million.

By purchasing the center and its 3-tesla MRI unit, RadNet plans to consolidate a portion of its Encino-Tarzana, CA MRI volume to Liberty Pacific. RadNet will move its 3-tesla MRI unit to its Squadron facility in Rockland County, NY.

RadNet also plans to add a 64-slice PET/CT unit to the Liberty Pacific facility.
