Breast MRI developer Aurora Imaging Technology of North Andover, MA, has adapted its Aurora breast MRI scanner to accept the Suros ATEC MRI breast biopsy device from women's imaging vendor Hologic of Bedford, MA.
The Suros needle guide insert now fits to the Aurora rotating needle guide arm, allowing for full compatibility of the Suros ATEC device with Aurora scanners. By using the products together, physicians can now biopsy challenging lesions identified with breast MRI that could not be reached previously, according to the companies.
