MRI firm Fonar of Melville, NY, has sold a fifth Upright Multi-Position MR scanner to a Florida radiology center.
Rose Radiology Centers, a large group on Florida's west coast, has 10 offices in the greater Tampa area. Most of the offices offer MRI, CT, x-ray, ultrasound, and mammography, while other Rose Radiology Centers also offer fluoroscopy, dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry (DEXA), and PET/CT. Rose Radiology bought its first Upright MRI in 2002.
