Toshiba Medical Systems has launched global sales of its new Vantage Titan/cS Edition 1.5-tesla MRI scanner for cardiac imaging.
The wide-bore scanner is designed to acquire high-resolution images for daily clinical exams while enhancing patient comfort. A new environment for sequence design also allows for MRI parameter changes, with a diverse pulse control to advance image quality.
With Toshiba's flow-sensitive black blood (FSBB) sequence, an independent motion-probing gradient (MPG) pulse can control the strength of the phase, frequency, and slice direction. The scanner also offers weighted processing on phase images while displaying the original phase image for finer details of narrowing blood vessels and variations in susceptibility.
