Radiology informatics firm Aycan Medical Systems has introduced its ayDCE software for prostate MRI exams.
The new software helps urologists and radiologists evaluate and document dynamic contrast shown in prostate MRI scans up to 70% faster than with traditional methods, generating structured reports with images for sharing with colleagues and patients, the firm said.
AyDCE also supports calculation of a Prostate Imaging Reporting and Data System (PI-RADS) score, evaluation of dynamic MRI/CT examinations, individual hanging protocols, and color superposition of semiquantitative parameters, among other features.
Aycan workstation has received 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and is vendor-neutral, Aycan added.
