GE Healthcare has unveiled Voluson Expert 22, a new ultrapremium ultrasound scanner that's optimized for applications in women's health.
The new system uses graphic-based beamformer technology, customizable user options, and clinical tools powered by artificial intelligence (AI). GE said the scanner also features the company's Lyric architecture, with advances in penetration, resolution, and frame rates that deliver improved 2D, 3D, and 4D ultrasound images.
The AI-powered tools meanwhile include SonoLyst for identifying fetal anatomy, SonoPelvicFloor, and SonoCNS. Customizable touch panels, color, and lighting options are also included. The scanner also sports a 23.8-inch high-definition display with three image sizes.
