The American Journal of Roentenology said it will debut a new section in its journal focused on the field of women's imaging.
The new section will include content that cuts across many medical specialties, covers many imaging techniques, and reports on advances in women's health, the AJR said. Dr. Marcia Javitt of Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC, has been named associate editor in charge of the section.
Manuscripts for the section are being accepted now; persons interested in submitting a manuscript can go to the AJR Web site for its "Instructions for Authors." The women's imaging section is scheduled to debut in January 2006, according to the AJR.
