Monitor distributor Double Black Imaging said that its partner WIDE has received Food and Drug Administration 510(k) clearance for its IF2105M LCD system, opening the door for its use in digital mammography applications.
IF2105M is a 21.3-inch diagonal 5-megapixel LCD driven by a high-speed graphic controller, and features an electronic front sensor that emerges from the bezel then retracts when DICOM grayscale calibration is complete, according to Westminster, CO-based Double Black. The display also has an integrated backlight sensor designed to ensure backlight consistency.
