Malvern, PA-based Siemens Medical Solutions will highlight Novation DR, its full-field digital mammography system based on amorphous selenium detector technology, at the RSNA meeting.
Novation can image a larger range of patients because of its 24 x 29 cm detector, according to the company. Novation also includes MammoReport, Siemens's dedicated workstation for mammography, and can view images from multiple modalities and vendor systems.
In its booth, the company will also feature MammoSmart, a network-connected, interactive breast care product that allows imaging centers and hospitals to provide patients with their complete mammography history on a CD or DVD. Siemens launched MammoSmart in October of this year.
