2008 10 24 15 01 18 372 Fuji Wom 2008(Booth 4039) In its RSNA booth, Fujifilm Medical Systems USA will debut a work-in-progress detector technology based on an amorphous selenium detector with a 50-micron pixel size.

The product represents Fuji's expansion into flat-panel-based full-field digital mammography (FFDM); the company already sells FFDM products based on computed radiography (CR).

The Stamford, CT, company also will showcase its Breast Imaging Diagnostic Workstation, which includes Synapse PACS multimodality breast imaging features and is compatible with Fuji's CR digital mammography systems.
