Breast imaging software developer Volpara Solutions is directing attention to 10 abstracts presented at ECR 2015 last week in Vienna on its breast density and quantitative breast imaging software.
The eight posters and two scientific session presentations described the benefits of quantitative breast density on mammographic sensitivity, highlighted volumetric density information for improving prediction of breast cancer risk, and reported the effects of compression and breast thickness on image quality and dose, according to Volpara.
